Thank you for visiting the consultant registration section of the Family Support 360 Web site. We are pleased that you are interested in becoming a consultant for the Family Support 360 Initiative. BETAH Associates, Inc.'s (BETAH) most essential task will be recruiting an experienced and competent pool of consultants to meet the Administration on Developmental Disabilities' (ADD) objectives for the planning and delivery of quality technical assistance (TA) to Family Support 360 grantees.

TA offered to grantees will be delivered by a team of consultants with expertise in the field of developmental disabilities, one-stop center operations, organizational development, nonprofit management, program performance-based outcome measurement, and a number of other related areas. We would especially like to highlight our desire to increase the number of Family Support 360 Peer Consultants. Peer Consultants may be a Family Support 360 grantee staff person or individuals living with a development disability. These individuals are vital to our efforts because they add a special sensitivity to the services delivered to families through one-stop centers. Peer Consultants also ensure that the consultant roster is representative of the population and families it intends to serve. In addition, they are vital links to certain hard-to-reach communities; therefore, BETAH is making a special effort to include more Peer Consultants in our consultant database.

Consultant activities may involve, but are not limited to, program design, development of one-stop center program services, community outreach and planning, coalition building, and staff training. However, prospective consultants should know that participation in the pool does NOT guarantee assignments. Moreover, the staff at ADD and BETAH will make final selection of consultants for all assignments.
