20th Anniversary of the ADA: July 26, 2010
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was passed on July 26, 1990. It guarantees equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities in public accommodations, employment, transportation, State and local government services, and telecommunications.

Family Support 360 Events
FS 360 Navigator Training
October 28 & 29, 2010
This event will take place in Gulfport, MS, and is open to all FS 360 Centers and FS 360 Military Centers. The training will speak to the principles and skills that Navigators need to support families. A training agenda with specific subtopics will be distributed closer to the meeting. Day 2 of the workshop will include a site visit to the Mississippi FS 360 Military Center. Staff from Mississippi's FS 360 Center will also be present. Further information, including how to register and make hotel reservations in the ADD block, will be distributed to all grantees soon.
2011 Family Support 360 Technical Assistance Institute
March 28—30, 2011
The meeting will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Up to three key staff members from each FS 360 Center and FS 360 Military Center are invited to attend. At least one attendee should be a Navigator.
Other Events
ADA Audio Conference Series
This series provides in-depth information on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This program is designed to enhance an individual's existing knowledge base or facilitate continued learning regarding regulations and trends under the ADA. Each session is scheduled from 1:00-2:30PM CST, and requires pre-registration.
Technical Assistance on Transition and the Rehabilitation Act (TATRA) Events
The PACER Center's TATRA Events Calendar features national and regional conferences focusing on topics related to secondary transition and career development.
REPORT SCHEDULES
Reports are due 30 days after the end of the second and fourth quarters of the budget period (every six months). Family Support 360 Grantee reports are due on October 30 and April 30 of each year.
